Eric Beiswanger’s practice primarily focuses on civil litigation and family law disputes. His civil litigation work includes a wide range of areas, including construction litigation, contract disputes, business law, personal injury/premise liability, and consumer fraud, among general civil litigation. He also advises business in employment and legal issues. Mr. Beiswanger’s family law practice includes dissolutions involving property and pension division, custody and visitation, and family support and related issues.
Mr. Beiswanger was born and raised in Merced, California, received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, and his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in New Jersey. While in law school, he worked with the Hispanic National Bar Foundation in Washington, D.C., the Merced County District Attorneys' Office, and the 5th District Court of Appeal in Fresno, California. After passing the bar, Mr. Beiswanger practiced law in Merced with Allen, Proietti, & Fagalde until opening his own law office.
Since practicing law in Merced, Mr. Beiswanger has been recognized in his local community by the Merced County Board of Supervisors for his achievements. He is, or has been in the past, involved in his local community with the UC Merced Law Clinic, as a Board member on the Boys & Girls Club of Merced, and as a member of the Merced County Bar Association, the Merced Elks Lodge 1240, among other charitable and philanthropic endeavors.
