My late Father, a long-time mortician at the San Francisco Columbarium was very involved with the LGBTQ community during the post-AIDS crisis era. My Father taught me as a young child to accept all people as human beings to be treated equally regardless of age, race, gender identity, and sexual orientation. In my personal and professional life, I have continued to carry those values with me.
