Thomas A. Blake is a Sioux Falls native who attended Washington High School. Upon graduation, he headed to the University of Colorado and pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and graduated in 1984. Heading further west again, Thomas received his law degree from the University of San Diego in 1987. There, he earned several awards and graduated with high honors. Tom went on to gain valuable experience with one of the largest and finest law firms in the state of Arizona, before answering the call to return to his roots. He moved home to join Blake Law Office in Sioux Falls. He has since spent his time investing in the region and the people he loves. Through the years, Tom has gained experience in a broad spectrum of legal matters, from the basic to the very complex. Tom understands that his clients' futures hang in the balance and that many of them are experiencing financial hardships. Thus, his commitment to delivering compassionate legal care. Perhaps Tom's greatest asset, besides his deep knowledge of the law, is the respect he has earned among the residents of the region. In his 30 years of practicing law, Tom has found his passion is for helping people out of financial difficulties as a bankruptcy lawyer. He still practices general law and can handle a variety of cases from family law to DWI/DUI cases. But, he has honed in on his skill for handling bankruptcy cases. This passion in bankruptcy has led Tom and his team to successfully file over 7500 bankruptcy cases since 1990.
