Vanessa Ruiz attended Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, where she earned her Juris Doctor and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2016. Since then, she has dedicated her legal career exclusively to practicing immigration law. She has represented individuals and families in a wide range of family-based and humanitarian immigration matters before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the immigration courts, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Over the years, she has successfully represented thousands of clients and has significant experience handling complex cases, including immigration waivers and other forms of discretionary relief.

 

Vanessa grew up in El Paso, Texas, a vibrant Hispanic community just minutes from the U.S.–Mexico border. Witnessing firsthand the immigration challenges faced by families in her hometown inspired her to pursue a legal career advocating for immigrants and their loved ones. She is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
